Don't be surprised if there's a bug in your eye...

Post by The Captain »

Hola people.

Okay, I'm chewing the fat on getting some more of the old school bug eyes made.

Opinions please. Would ya'll like to see these on D*A*M pedals again? Maybe even as something you could purchase separately?!!? Do you prefer the current knobs (Eagle Plastics) betterer?....or maybe you don't give two shits and you are wondering why I don't just get back to work. :teeth2:

Eye like both types but the bug eyes are a wee bit cooler imo.

Bug eyes for me! Although i do really love the orange style knobs as well. Maybe people will start calling the bug eyes D*A*M knobs in years to come.

TBH, either or...

I like the current ones, reminiscent of Fender Jazzes & good MXR's, easy to replace. On the downside, everyone uses them.

Bug eyes - something a bit different, and therefore, kind of cool.

But...

Where are the chicken-head or EHX style Dakaware (early Meathead Deluxe/RamHead style) options???

Come on, show us your knobs!!!

I've always liked the bug eyes. But at this point, I've been after a Rooster for so long I'd gladly accept one with chewed-up gum stuck to the shaft as knobs.

I enjoy oldschool stuff so much! It looks awesome.

You should use the old fonts too!

The bug eyes give the pedals a more off kilter vibe. :tu:

Anyway it adds to the variation in D*A*M so I voted ay to Big Eyes! :smashed:
