I'll see what i can do.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far.

:badteeth: aaaaand...three years later I answer my own question. The silicon 1966 tonebender. Probably one of my favorite fuzzes at the moment. First of all a big thank you to The Captain for making this gem, and secondly a big thank you to The Warmth for hooking me up! I have had this one for a bit now and have used it at a few gigs and a bunch at home and hopefully some recordings soon! This guy sounds a bit more in the fuzz face realm than tonebender in my opinion. It's got a lot of fuzz face qualities: the cleanup, smooth wooly fatness, nice and dynamic. But it's tightened up in all the right areas: gone is the fuzz faces flubby low end and muddyness, and there's a well bit more overall volume on tap. I'd say it leans more toward the silicon fuzz face side of things than the drag n fly, which always seemed a bit more on the germanium tonebender side to me. Truely a great pedal with tons of gain for a two transistor fuzz and really feels like a best of both worlds kinda thing. Not sure why the Captain didn't make more of these :hmm: such an awesome idea for a fuzzbox I think! Plz reissue... :zgrin:
