^ Good guess, inner! Yep, the Firebird for all the single note stuff (clean and FZ-1). SG Jr for the rhythm track. The Junior LOVES the FZ-1, too, probably because it's got such a high output.

Its good to hear it with other guitars especially humbuckers as I only have single coils, though your right when I play through it with my tele on the bridge and neck in series switch you get a big fat fuzzy toneHorseyBoy wrote:^ Good guess, inner! Firebird pups (especially the vintage-spec ones in mine) aren't really like other humbuckers - they're very much their own thing. Probably sound closer to a single coil than a humbucker. Funnily enough, they're closer to a Tele than anything.
