Beatle fuzz...

Post by Philip »

Before the horns were added, The Beatles song - Got To Get You Into My Life featured rough fuzz guitar playing basic licks where the horns would eventually play. Here is a replica of that early take...

You can actually hear this on the original Revolver release on the left channel in the background. My version features a few instances of creative license where the parts aren't clear on the officially released Revolver track and also to give it a D*A*M fuzzy ending.

Good going, especially the final.
I tried to listen to Revolver with headphones and this track didn't sound so good because of dire volume/panning issues. It is definitely one of the wierdest productions from The Beatles, competing with Rain. They should apparently have kept the fuzz guitar. :tu:
Question for the experts:
What fuzz pedal gets close to the Conquer fuzz when played through a Conquer amp?
(Except for MMB)

Hehe!

Danelectro, i'm selling my les paul custom...

The fact you had to ask what it was kinda backs up why i'm selling it.

The custom looks ace, but it's too heavy for me and I can sound cool enough to my ears on a much cheaper guitar. :badteeth:

Hell yeah... that Dano smokes with your rig. I am a huge Les Paul fan but if you can get the goods without it and you need the bread why not sell it?

Keep the clips coming.

selling the LP?!

nice job on the videos, Philip. keep 'em rolling...JMI has that "59Shadow" guy hawking all kinds of product out
there, of course tapping into the sales-demographic.....ie: the latest wave/flood of Page-fuzz seeking drones...

:choke:

you and Dave show 'em how it's done with class & style. :captain:

edit: You, Dave & Macari's/Sola Sound•London show 'em how it's done with class & style  :captain:

Yeah, tis nearly a done deal, I'll miss the guitar, but all things considered I'm not seeing much point in keeping it.

Had fun with it, time to pass it on...
