Glad to hear you still have the Dead Heat, that thing is killer!

The switches emulate the playback heads of a tape delay by stacking the SAD1024’s
1 = shortest delay time, 4 = longest and you can combine them anyway you like. Then there’s the delay time control and a ‘long/short’ switch on the side, plenty of options.

I guess I've asked it before in a way, but do you have any experince with rockmountable/tabletop Roland/Boss/Maxon/Ibanez delay units?

They look cool as !@#$. Usually built around MN3005. Input gain control. Lpf tone control. Good noise reduction. Etc.

But in reality, is there really a big difference between these and stompbox versions? :smashed:
