PPP got back to me this morning. This was their response, which appears as though they are going to take care of everything.
"We have been screening for over three years and this is the first time this
has happened. We are always learning something new and this is an example of
that. From now on it will be a requirement that screening customers send
measurements for their artwork.
I need you to send the enclosures back. We will strip the paint,
repaint the boxes, and have them ready when the new screen gets here. Please
send the new work with the exact measurements you need this to be. We will
have the new screen made and go from there."
I rechecked and resent the files and gave them exact dimensions of the artwork. Hopefully it will work out right this time.
Just so nobody has any doubt that I gave them an illustration showing what I expected, below is a copy (not original size & resolution) one of the files I sent to them showing them what the graphics should look like on top of an exact scale drawing of the top a hammond 1590P1 enclosure.

Still sucks it happened, but it's good to see they're going to make it right without a fuss or any cost to you (by the sounds of things). That's good business practice right there -- accidents do happen, but it's how they are dealt with that makes the real difference. Sounds like you'll be ready to roll in no time.

It won't be very long. PPP are repainting the enclosures so they'll be ready when the new screen arrives. The screen maker took full responsibilty for the screw up btw.
