I have MKII’s with a better dynamic range, but at full tilt that seeing eye freak just tells the others to fuckoff
81d, 82d trannies sound awesome, a bit more “sophisticated” but you cant beat the more in your face attack of a MKII with the classic OC75’s

I now own six 82DMs in various pedals, I guess it’s the official transistor of yours truly

Man I’m loving it. I’ve actually never owned a legit hand-made mkII before. My point of comparison is a Boss TB-2w which I’ve always thought sounded pretty great. I still admire how they were able to get in the ballpark with their mass production techniques, but yeah the D*A*M is clearly better. More depth, more balls, the way it rides a fine line between punch and sag on the low notes.
