How the fuck do you guys not get the mic to overload on the camera? I am playing to loud when I record or you using an external mic?

Im using a pretty crappy camera and the guitar is at about shouting volume. Not super loud but pretty loud for the room Im in. I think it just depends on the camera you use. FWIW, no youtube video recorded with a cheap camera is really true to the sound of a pedal. It always chops off all the high end presence and compresses the whole signal so you get an idea of the tone and voicing but not really the actual room sound of the pedal.

Aww, that's so sweet
There will be more, don't know when exactly, could be a month, maybe longer.
Once things are in order with the graphics people (aka pedalpartsplus) I will have a better idea and will probably start a list at some point. Keep checking in over the next few weeks. This forum is where any news will be posted.

Understand people, I, like most of you, have a regular day job, so I can't build all the live long day. It's gonna take some time to get enough built for everyone who wants one, but I'll do the best i can. Please have a lotta patience.

Just wanted to give an update of the future of run #2.

I've ordered parts for 25 more pedals with the exception of enclosures on which I'm still waiting to hear back from PPP about the silk screening. The only difference electronics-wise will be no tropical fish caps. I could get more, but they're old and fragile and break easily and I'd rather use reliable new components. I've seen pics of plenty of B&M's that didn't have fishies but rather the plain green film caps which I'll be using so I don't see it as compromise. They're purely for mojo anyway and any difference is sound should be negligable.

So, things are in motion. The only uncertainty at this point is whether there will be silk screened graphics or not. If I had to give an estimate on completion i would guess 3-4 weeks before the first pedal is done and 6-8 weeks before all 25 are done. There will be a pre-order list at some point, but definitely not until enclosures are at least ordered.

The BCcomponents MKT 368 series are a good and tasty replacement to the tropical fish type. They have a very similar if not the same pitch as those fishies you are using there.

Phase One nearing completion, 25 etched, trimmed, and tinned pcbs ready for drilling. Also, graphics are approved and being sent to the silkscreen maker. :tu:
