I know. It's a Meathead.
Is it more akin to a Fuzz Face? A MKI.V? Betty White? Just curious is all.

I would say a little Betty White mixed with a pinch of Satan................or a fuzz face

Fuzz Face, MKI.V, 1966, Super Bee and Meathead - all got similar circuit topology, but with other component values....

AFAIK, early Meathead was a sort of EHX Muff Fuzz
But most of them are sort of Fuzz Face.
Although Dave and Linzi put a little bit of evil in each one too

Thanks guys. I know it's not exactly another fuzz. I'm just curious how close it is to a FF or I.V.

It may well be close to a silicon fuzz face in circuit topology but it sure doesnt sound like any fuzz face ive ever played! Its midrangey, gainy, and evil sounding. What a great pedal! That is...if you need an intense brick wall of doom shoved down your throat. I can think of at least two times ive turned on my meathead dark at a gig and had band members look at me with suprise and then laugh at the rediculousness of the insane fuzz tone!

To my ear, it's a fuzz face that got raped and beat up a lot as a kid, so it generally hates the world. It's super gainy, lots of bass and mids...

I think what everyone is trying to say is...It's the same, yet totally different.

Either way, it may be my favorite fuzz.
