Congrats on the FZ-1 Paul! Great score. Yes, the Jazz Box is super-cool. The input filter does allow for a wider range of sounds than any other Mk1 build I have. I run my reissue Tele or Strat straight into it and into my amp and it's pure bliss. I would never have guessed that such a plain-looking enclosure could generate such immense filth! It's not going anywhere soon. . . . . . :badteeth:

A little bird told me there may be more FZ1s dropping soon. Of course not for me as I always seem to miss the boat on pigdog pedals…

Nice Rangedriver! There’s something very cool about the amp-top boosters! What’s inside?

Thanks! I’m loving the amp-top format, this is my first one.

There’s a Mullard OC44 inside  I’ll snap a pic and share soon.

So good
my amp tech said he’s never had much luck with finding a good treble booster. So we plugged mine into his Laney Super group. I slowly dialed in the range and bam! The look on His face was priceless

What is it about OC44s that makes them kick so much ass?
