Slomatics Spam New Release The Future Past Out Now!

Post by welshchris »

Pardon the Spam.
Most of this stuff has been out of print for a long time, so we thought we'd arrive fashionably late to the digital party and do a bandcamp. Pretty much all our back-cat prior to the Conan split is now available here: http://www.slomatics.bandcamp.com Download away and I hope you enjoy.

So while I'm here other news:
Our drummer of 7 years split (amicably) at the end of last year, but we've a new guy in place who is absolutely slaying us with his 26" kick. More amps needed! Mid-way through writing a new album right now, it'll see the light of day on wax on Head of Crom records towards the end of the summer, with a CD version on Burning World some time after. First "official" gig with the new line-up is 31st March in the Limelight, Belfast with Hornets and Triggerman. We've a couple of show lined up in Leeds and Edinburgh on the 10/11th August with our doom-bros Conan too. Should be fun!

Spam Over.

Yeeeessss! This is looking like it will be a good summer already! :freakout:

Will definitely be downloading more Slo' tunes once I have funds again! Still digging the last Slomatics/Conan split. Awesome stuff!! :tu:

My mate played Bannermans on Wednesday and said it was a pretty good gig - he was particularly happy cause the sound guy seemed cool with them playing LOUD!! :headbanger:

yes, played there a few times some years ago, not a bad wee pub down the Cowgate area, which can be quite a busy and mad place at the weekends.

Hopefully I'll be able to get down and see you guys make some walls shake.

31st March has been etched in my brain. I'm quite excited by this news. Probably more than a grown man should be!

Don't hesitate on seeing these guys live. If you're near any of the towns Slomatics are playing then I urge you to go. Although a word of warning - your internal organs will be in a different position by the end of the show.
