Mk I wooden Tonebender, now it is official !
Just got a email from Justin and it seems like the wooden Mk I is coming our way sometime soon.
Does not look to bad to be honest, right transistors and a pretty convincing looking case.
Will try to get my hands on one as soon as possible to try it out and compare to my original Mk I.
Not as sexy as the steel Mk I case though

Hmmm very interesting. Looks cool. The history booklet should be fun read
Slight concern....is that thing shielded??? Can't tell from the pic if the case in lined.

I don't want anything to do with the metal/steel/w.e it is case ones that were going to be limited to 250 pieces, but sorry, this one just looks awesome. I'm trying to somehow save up for this. Looks great, methinks.

For a pedal? Don't know. For guitar: open up a stratocaster, for example, and you might see some greyish spray shielding showing in the paint.Sickle wrote:It looks like the inside has been sprayed with some kind of metallic paint..? Would that work as a shielding agent?

I thought I'd like that more than I do. I love the idea but I really dislike the wooden case (which I know is the point !).
I wish they'd stuck it in the metal case TBH. If they had I'd have bought one half an hour ago.As it goes, half of me says "got to have it - buy quick - don't miss out" and the other half says "I don't know if I can drop £300 for an ugly stompbox".
Hmmm. I think I may find I'm in the minority with that opinion

I just bought one. Couldn't resist. I've wanted a D.A.M. 1965 for too long. If this pedal sucks, perhaps I can get money back advertising it as a collectors piece. All of this assumes that Music Ground actually gets the pedal to me.

I'm soooo tempted. How many are they supposed to be making?
