Cover versions you like better than the originals

Thought this could be a good spot to post covers that, for one reason or another, you prefer to the original version.
First up, Ike and Tina Turner doing the Beatles' "Get Back". I'm completely obsessed with Ike's guitar playing at the moment - just dig the shit out of everything he does (and everything he doesn't). This is from "Workin' Together", my favourite Ike and Tina album, from 1971:
And here's a live version from 1972. I could watch Tina and the Ikettes dance all day:
Beatles covers were all the rage in the 70s (Ike and Tina did "Let it Be" on the same album). Junior Parker did THREE of them on his 1971 album "Love Ain't Nothin' but a Business Goin' On" - "Taxman", "Lady Madonna" and this one, "Tomorrow Never Knows":
Moving away from the Beatles and onto the Who, here's Oscar & the Majestics doing "I Can't Explain" in 1966. LOVE the fuzz on this one:
And the mighty Fleur de Lys (with Jimmy Page on lead guitar) doing "Circles" in the same year:
