Lol i'd never heard of this guy until literally five minutes ago when I read a thread about his new Orange signature amp on another forum. Now he's everywhere!!Tin Shack King wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 3:09 am Marcus King Band at Humphrey’s by the Bay in San Diego. Great players all.

Seems like a talented player, tho.

Yes he certainly is; we saw him last October in Nashville at the Basement too. This was his rig at the Nashville show, and it looked the same as what he played in San Diego last week. I haven't played through any Orange amps myself, but he sure was getting a fat sound from that setup.

Fingers crossed it can be saved. It’s always a sad time when music venues get shut, we’ve had a few shut in Edinburgh in the last few years, one got turned into a soulless Weatherspoons

Noooooooooo! I played a lot in Edinburgh because a lot of the venues in Glasgow didn't survive the 80s well and got turned into corporate chains and trendy black&chrome monstrosities.innerflight wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 6:39 pm Fingers crossed it can be saved. Preservation Hall is now an Irish Boozer, quite a good pub to be fair but yeah it was a great music venue but long gone
Music Box is now called The liquid Rooms, still a great venue, you get bands or club nights in there pretty much every night
