That is one seriously great looking pedal. Your done a fab job with the enclosure design Sickle, one of the best looking DAM pedals I think. I thought nothing could sound better than my B&G, but if this is even darker, I must have one

Yeah man. The original "Fuzz Box" is a bad ass. You got one of the strip board models, aye? Not so sure about the PCB models as the circuit seems to have been fucked with. Said it before, so I'll say it again. Modern day classic. Awesome pedal.Sickle wrote:Hey, don't fret, I heard those are actually pretty heavy duty fuzz pedals if you get the older ones.1bottlerocket wrote:The Captain wrote:Useless Fact #2: The One-knob Fuzz ain't so old, its from the 1990's
Useless Fact #3: If you get board of it sell it to me
Oh well, I guess I am just not destined to get anything older than that, even the one time I actually tried.

Aye, it's a strip board model. I am going to post pics up soon in the "oh, shit..." thread. Hopefully this weekend.

Question: if there is a deluxe version of the regular meathead, will there be a deluxe version of the dark version in the near future?

Now that's a good question.Fuzz-Sound MKIV wrote:Question: if there is a deluxe version of the regular meathead, will there be a deluxe version of the dark version in the near future?

Thanks for the info don i was asking the same thing while writing a review for a guitar magazine for the standard meat and the B&G today...Sickle wrote:The Meathead Deluxe's tone control makes a Dark version redundant, so nope, you won't be seeing that.1bottlerocket wrote:Now that's a good question.Fuzz-Sound MKIV wrote:Question: if there is a deluxe version of the regular meathead, will there be a deluxe version of the dark version in the near future?
But you *may* see a new skin for it at some point.
