^ Reading that extract about Alan Parker. I've never heard anyone mention he used a Tonebender on "Melody Nelson" before. Wonder where that info came from?

For anyone that doesn't know, @11publishing are having an auction of book number 1, signed by various cool names all to raise awareness / money for the families of the Grenfell Tower tragedy, link - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Level-and-At ... 1431.l2649

I second that. I really love reading books and articles about the history of beloved music gear and this book looks fantastic. I love David's quote up at the top... "like a holy object."

I've seen a couple for sale but they are so outrageously priced it is pointless to share. When I bought this, and the Blackguard book I had no idea that they would turn into such collectibles.
I passed on the Boss Waza/Sola fuzz thinking that I would get one on the second-hand market, as I couldn't bring myself to pay the 300 or so that they were selling for new. You win some you lose some. Good luck finding one.

I left it so late and very nearly missed out! I got #453 and was so stoked when I got it! Such an amazing publication
