D*A*M Fuzz Sound MkIII Demo #2... Snowblind

Here's another demo of the Fuzz Sound MkIII. I posted it here incase anyone might miss them in the Fuzz Sound sectio of the forum.

This time I'm using my Strat w/Bareknuckle Mother's Milk pickups, into my Deluxe Reverb w/Cannabis Rex speaker.
The Fuzz Sound is set with the Volume at noon, Tone set at 1 o'clock and the sustain up full.
Well anyway, I start out with the clean tone, then kick in the Fuzz Sound and noodle for a few seconds, then I go into Snowblind by Sabbath, then Just Got Paid by ZZ Top...

The shit thing about uploading on Soundclick is that you're limited to 128kbps mp3s and that really degrades the quality quite alot. It makes the high end mushy and adds a kind of blanket over the sound. If anyone would like to hear to the raw wav files, or even 320kbps mp3's, just drop me a line and I'll email em' to you. They really do sound twice as good.

Oh, and to record this I used an SM57, Presonus Firepod, SOundcraft mixer into Logic where I added a dash of reverb and limiting.

Cheers,
Xan :)

Sounds great Xan, nice thick and chewy, but still articulate on the note seperation.

Now I have that riff in my head for snowblind! time to break out the old Sab cd's today!

Nice clip it's nice to put a sound to the fuzzsound it is also cool you got one. I know you hung in there that morning well my morning your evening I reckon. How is soundclip? Do you need to pay for it? I was wondering how some folks get clips up on forums. I see some that just pop up with quicktime that seems pretty cool as well, but I am not sure what they used.

Sickle wrote:You can upload a clip directly to the forum as long as its less than about 3 mb's. Once its uploaded, you can wrap that file(or any other mp3 located online with the [mp3] tag in the posting window and it will load the player I installed in the forum software.
That's cool I always choke when I try to record myself. Not that my playing is much better when I don't.

Some mighty fine clips that prove you are deserved of such an awesome fuzzbox, i believe your fantastic clips have lead to the fuzz sound interest being extra high. Well done sir.
