Played mine… it’s fucking dope! I’d say it’s like, if if you wish a mkI could have more girth (without dulling the top end like a Castledine style mkI), this is similar to that. Or if you wish a mkIII retained the ruder raspy distortion character of a mkI instead of the juicier smoother mkIII breakup. Other 11:11 brothers please let me know if you agree!

What trannies are in use on this one...I see one is a Mullard OC73. What are the other two?

Yes I hear it like a fat MKI , it has that MKI attack to the note but a smoother tail to it. You still get that zip but not all the spit and crackle in the background.dancehall wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 5:03 pm Played mine… it’s fucking dope! With a humbucker you need to roll the guitar volume off slightly to keep the bottom end tight as you get that overblown compressed sag to it…..and that full blown sag is awesome for slow sludgy powerchords

Yeah, there ARE the mkI crackly artifacts but they seem to arise closer to the end of the note decay. And there’s definitely that zippy sound that a mkI does when sliding up and down the fretboard, which I love.stella_blues wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 10:52 pmYes I hear it like a fat MKI , it has that MKI attack to the note but a smoother tail to it.
