my single knob meathead

I was lucky enough to pick up one of the single knobbers and I have to say i've never been so impressed with a fuzz, the amount of gain this thing gives out is unbelievable and untameable but I did have a question....I love the sound of this pedal dimed however I notice at this setting that the overall volume of my rig is signifigantly louder when the meathead is engaged...I'd love to be able to adjust this if there is some mod to do so. Thanks.

I'm afraid that has to do with the headroom of your amp. The solution is a Meathead Deluxe (which has a master volume) or running your amp louder
