Oh Larry - if only you'd known where slap bass would lead to. In the right hands it's funky (Sly and the Family Stone, Graham Central Station) but then we got the likes of Mark King in Level 42. Larry - yes; bass clinics/unnecessary solos from unfunky musos - no :bangs head:

His hat in the "Tis Your Type of Music" vid is the coolest thing I've ever seen.

Unfortunately Larry Graham dresses straight now but Bootsy Collins still wears his shades, hat and wild clothing :-D
