FS: Two Tone Bender MK4 clones

Post by SonicVI »

No, not Two-Tone Benders, but a pair of Tone Bender MK4 clones for sale. These were built by me and my hands and they each feature:

Metallic Silver Powder Coated Hammond 1590P1 enclosure (that's the D*A*M MKII/66 size for reference)
A trio of NOS Mullard OC84 transistors (with green dots in one pedal, whatever that means, woohoo)
Tropical Fishy and BC/Vishay capacitors
Ohmite "Little Demon" carbon composition resistors
Carling DPDT true-bypass switch
24mm Alpha pots
tall Marshall style knobs
Cliff jacks
Shielded in/out wiring
No LED or DC jack.
Hugo Montenegro LP not included

$250 each CONUS shipping included.

The sound is similar to but much better in real life than what can be heard in this demo which was done with a Telecaster and Logic Pro amp simulation:

Wow! that was fast
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far.

I got the plain jane and it's really just fucking amazing. falls right in between the tones of my old DAM MKIII clone and my new FS MKIII. truely top notch work by SonicVI.
