Hi all,
I've got a Triangle Big Muff clone up for sale. 2N5089 transistors. Alpha pots, switchcraft jacks, cliff 3pdt footswitch. I threw some tropical fishies in this one too. Black mist Pedal Enclosures box. The color is kind of hard to photograph. It's black with some light red, gold and green flake in it. Green LED (between the volume and tone knobs)
$119 shipped U.S. Paypal included. I will ship international, but the shipping will be a little bit more.
I can also build these to whatever specs you want. I have 1 Sovtek and a Civil War board populated. They just need enclosures. ( I also have a few options for boxes too)

Nice looking build. Which Big Muff clone would you recommend to get a David Gilmour kind of sound?
Thanks.

He has used Ram's Head,Triangle and Civil War versions. I think he favored the Ram's Head mostly, but that tone could just be in his fingers.flupe007 wrote:Nice looking build. Which Big Muff clone would you recommend to get a David Gilmour kind of sound?

Yes, Kitrae's Big Muff site is incredible.
Maybe you could give a brief sonic description between the differences between the Triangle, Civil War and Sovtek muffs?
I'm sure they sound similar, but I'm also sure there are some differences.
And yes, you are correct, a lot of Dave's tone is in his technique and in his fingers for sure. The gilmourish site is totally cool too.

This is a work in progress, but check out clip #1 for each Muff on this page. Should answer your question. I did this just for us Gilmour tone chasers.flupe007 wrote:Yes, Kitrae's Big Muff site is incredible.
