Super Bee #47 on the bay :

http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... K:MEWAX:IT

It's a brand new one.
The guy says he's been added to the list on the first day. :coffee:

What puzzles me is that it seems that a lot of people buy DAMs only for speculation purposes.
It's a bit sad, isn't it ?

The good news about this auction is : we're at #47/150+ people still waiting.

I like those black OC71s.

I will continue to wait patiently, though. If I remember correctly, I think I'm in the 130's :lolmetal:

what do you mean by speculation ?? :errr:
this stuff's nothing new.... sadly.
but the thing about pedals is that you have to try it yourself and, if you don't like it... then i would sell it as this seller is doing.
may be he just did not get along with the BEE.

or may be he just needs money...

He does say he has a 1966 already and can't keep them both, fair enough. There's certainly a profit being tacked on there, but it seems like 99% of sellers do that.

It's a tough call. Many of these pedals are advertised before people hear them. In that case people will join the list and then find that the sound doesn't suit them or they have a pedal that does the same thing. Others will join the list and then find they're really struggling for cash when their turn comes around. I fall into this category but I'm DETERMINED that I've let my last D*A*M pedal go. I still weep for my lost '65 :bleh:
Other people will speculate. It's bound to happen and it's a shame but scarce, high quality items become valuable and, inevitably, expensive.

Cheers,
Mike

Not sure, but I think the seller was a member here at one time. A search yeilded no results. :hmm:

I'm pretty sure he was too, and it's not the first time he's flipped a brand new pedal either :banger:
