Cheers!
I gotta go out to see a man about a dog, so only have 5 minutes to do some A/B'ing, but...
Using a Les Paul into my Marshall, set pretty loud:-
Shatterbox
Faint radio stations in the background, bit noisy and at some settings it is gated and does that self oscilating thing that Dave describes.
The boost side is pre-set and gives a nice crunch and brings on feedback easily, good mid range.
The fuzz is gated, great fun and mad when you combine the boost.
Unpredictable. I'm sure this box keeps tricking me when I'm not watching (settings seem to change?

)
Its a good fun old box.
Blind Mary
Cool sounding boost. Things get very fucking loud with this thing. More bass than the Shittybox.
Flexible, I like this pedal, it'll get a lot of use.
Hatchet Harry
I love this fuzz. There's none of the unpredictable nature of the Shatterbox, you know damn well what the fuck it'll do for you when you dial in. Good range of fuzz sounds, more bass. It sounds different than the Shatterbox, in a good way.
Mary into Harry is just madness. Professors in laboratories, mad hair, earthquakes, women and children running.
All the above depends on the settings, of course.
