Re: Black Dahlia -vs- Meathead Darks
Seriously beautiful stuff there man. And I always love seeing all the different knobs you throw onto them. It always makes me want to go on a spending spree and re-do all of my pedals with the craziest looking knobs I can find.
But I have to agree, that after all of my adventures with fuzz pedals that the Meathead is the one that speaks to me the most. Everything from the half cocked wah sounds with the volume rolled back. To the sheer power it displays when the the volume knob is cranked. It's everything I love about distortion/fuzz in a simple little package.
So is there any chance the Captain will ever do another run of Black and golds? Or something akin to your Slo-modded Meat? The idea of "MK I-style decay" mixed into a Meathead, really has my attention.

The Meathead Dark seems pretty great. I may need to check one out down the road.
