HELP!!

Post by kingalow »

My Sola Sound MKII big box casing is in dire need of some proper guts. Does anyone here know how to stuff it with the right kinds of innards? :badteeth:

To make a long story short - i bought a 90's reissue Sola Sound Tone Bender a while back, apparently made by Dick Denney. The only thing cool about it is the authentic casing - because it sounds like total dogshit. Bassy, farty, and no cleaning up on the volume dial of my guitars.

I tore all the parts out & I'd really appreciate if someone on here would be willing to get this thing going again with the right stuff.

Everyone on here seems to own a proper goddam d*a*m except me - what gives? :P

I'd talk to Skinpimp or CreepyFingers or SonicVI (all in N. America), Stu or Ian Sherwen or dazed and confused (PigDog) (in the UK). All those guys build great gear.
I had a GH RI MkI similar situation -- crap pedals, cool case -- that Ryan replaced the guts in.
Bet jerms could roll you up something cool too.

Guts of the SonicVI MkII I have in the mail

Yep, I'd hit SonicVI (US) or Stu (UK) :captain:

Did it arrive yet Dev? And mad props for SonicVI.
"Yes I remember a brave guy named Roger dancing around musicians and cleaning their shoes. Occasionally we gave him our broken pedals for repair to get peace for some hours."
