Creepy Fingers chrometastic Hot Wheel fuzz

Post by Creepyfingers »

Yo

Got this little dude up for sale. Its a Colorsound-esque single knob fuzz. Using one of those funky dual transistors. I nerded out and tried to get the components to resemble a mini dragster. Didn't quite pull it off but hey...
Its got huge output, tons of fuzz. Cleans up nicely with the guitar's volume. Great for heavy stuff. I'm asking $140 shipped in the US, $160 shipped overseas. Here's some pics:

The transistor is the motor, the ceramic caps the wheels/tires and the resistor is Don Garlits?

I saw a pic of this one or maybe it was another but I love the dragster theme. Can I ask if that is a LM308? Always makes me smile to see your stuff.
Cheers

Yo

Pedal on hold... The transistor is a dual npn. The LM308 is an op amp. No benefit to using the dual. Just looks cool haha. I'd love to get some of those transistor arrays for making stuff like the Superfuzz more compact. Probably a total bitch to do layouts for.

Thanks for the info Brad. It does look great. I have a friend that works in a military electronics depot and comes up with crazy stuff. If you have part numbers for the arrays I can ask him for you.
