MKII Valve Klippers now in production
Guys,
Today (12/12/10) I am unveiling my new website featuring the new MKII Valve Klippers. At the moment I have only one product, but more pedals to come in the following weeks.
It can be visited at http://www.faustone.com
I am very happy with how these turned out, it's been several months of hard work and *lots* of prototypes until I settled for this design/layout. I must have tried every preamp power supply design out there.
I owe a debt of gratitude to this forum so you're the first to know. Sorry for not staying in touch as much as I wanted in the past months, some of you have written asking for news but I had nothing to show except some dirty-looking prototype pictures. I hope the new Klippers (and the next pedals to come) are something worth the waiting.
Thanks!
Fausto

Re:
The MKIIs might be a tad brighter (I lowered the value of just one capacitor). Other than that, it's the same circuit in a different envelope.the treble boost kid wrote:Any differences in sound on the pre and Klipp to the previous version ?

If I get any cash between now and when these sell out I'm definitely getting one.
Christmas can't be over fast enough as I'm concerned because it's tapped me out hard!
I love Tube based dirt pedals, my Kingsley Jester is making all my op-amp, tansistor based overdrives very sad.
How many do you expect to produce?
