Yes -that is sooo strange!! NKT Germanium FUZZ FACE by the Captain in a sexy hammerit enclosure for a non crack pipe or Japanese price??
I can tell you from first hand (ear) experience that the recent germanium fuzz face creations by Dave are on par with the black NKT Japanese Head Buzz.

I pulled the trigger a few weeks ago. 2 transistor fuzzers are me fave - this will go well with my MK 1.5 Goldie and Super Bee SB-66, Sonus NKT 1966, Analogman Red Dot NKT. See a theme....

REALLY looking to put it up against the Super Bee. That thing eats other fuzzes up. Perfect "present" balance with full lows and crisp top. Incredible live fuzz. Hopefully this takes over on the pedal board and retires the Super Bee.
