The Micro Fuzz in the advert looks to have been built in a narrower case than the MXR & Sam Ash 'bud' boxes. Unless there's already a link between Frogg and Sam Ash, I'd wager that the knob layout of those two pedals is just a coincidence.

I thought the same thing until I read this line in an interview. And it had me wondering if it's possible that it's an optical illusion that it looks so narrow, or if the one in the ad wasn't a production unit...

But also, you could definitely be right, and I'm definitely 60/40 that it's a coincidence with the knob layout.
