Silvertone 1300 Amp, Is it Cool?

Hey all,

Available to me locally, curious if anyone has any experience with these OLD ass amps. This one is all original but needs new caps. Has been in the family since purchase.

Not much online other than it was used on some Johnny Cash legendary recordings.

Curious if anyone has experience with these amps/if the sound is nice and vintage crunchy like? Seeing if I should jump at the opportunity, current asking price is $500

Thats a real early one!!! Id say jump on it. Maybe see if you can talk the seller down a little considering it will need some work.
