Colorsound Wah Pots?
I've seen reference to and pics of Bourns linear 100k pots used as replacement pots in Colorsound wahs. Is this the prefered replacement as opposed to a specially tapered repro wah pot as is usually the case when replacing a cry baby type wah pot? Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Yarp. The Icar types don't fit and the longer throw on the Colorsound works better with the Bourns type. You can use the Citec/Omeg type but for the extra few squid the Bourns is the best bet. They're totally sealed too so no dust or other such crap is getting inside.

Thanks Guys, good to hear from a trusted source. Have you any tips for recalibrating the armature as in which way might be best to start bass or treble side? Like I told P*D, I love taking things apart but putting 'em back together's a whole nuther story!
Thanks,
Kevin
P*D,
I'll for sure get two, I'm looking for a supplier where I can get a workable replacement for an old Maestro Fuzztain pot also. Digikey had that pot but not the Bourns I was looking for at the time but I'll try the part number Tatter gave.
Thanks,
Kevin
