If you like your Meat on the fat side you are going to love it! I am very jealous of you!
Excellent thread too - those early meatheads are so cool!

Ok, I have #187 coming in. Trying to find a way to get paine's B&G as well. Would love to see more Meathead stuff in here though.
How many Meatheads have been made so far?

If its like my 2007 Meat, its tuned with more aggressive mids and sounds killer! Well they all do, but you know what I mean!
I think there are about 300+ Meatheads out there so far going by the Pedal Registry..

That's what Kyle said as well. A little more mids and a bit brighter. Should cut through the mix perfectly.

Aye, more mids and a bit brighter is exactly it. Definitely cuts through the mix well - used mine with a Matamp and had the best tone I ever had live.. Hadn't discovered the Meathead Deluxe or Super Bee back then though!warhorse wrote:That's what Kyle said as well. A little more mids and a bit brighter. Should cut through the mix perfectly.

If you are looking for a bass Meat, check out the Black n Gold for sale on here! I can also highly recommend a Meathead Deluxe - plenty of low end when you need it, but you can get all colours of the meat spectrum with the Filter control!
